In the current world situation, people are more likely to shop online rather than attend in store. Some governments are discouraging people from going outside and to maintain their important activity online. Online shopping becomes more attractive and the online market is larger than ever.

 

This project is a responsive e-commerce web application called ‘Bismillah e-Shopping’. It focuses on delivering a responsive, advanced functional web application which will exceed clients expectations.

 

The target audience of the project are small or medium sized business who wish to expand their online presence. The application has a rich backend server which allows management to maintain their inventory.

 

The end user of the application can view an item, rate the item, search the items, and buy an item using their PayPal account or visa debit/credit card. After a complete purchase, users will get confirmation by email and information about the item delivery. Users of the application can download the invoice for their records.

 

An admin interface of the application, allows admin to view stock levels and values. The application also allows both user admin and customers to communicate with each other by text messaging.

 

Django, the open source framework was used to develop the web application in Python. The end user development was completed using Bootstrap. PayPal, the third party payment gateway enables the user to make online purchases.
