The "Raspberry Pi Arcade Machine" project is a retro style arcade game using the C++ programming language, the SFML library and a Raspberry Pi.

The concept of the game is a 2D-style game where a virus outbreak has caused the citizens of a city to be placed in quarantine, but not all of them have been able to make it back home safely. The main characters' goal is to rescue these citizens while also defeating enemies that are trying to spread the virus.

The target audience is anybody that enjoys playing computer games, especially those who grew up in the 90s playing consoles such as the NES, SNES and Mega Drive.

The gameplay is controlled using a retro style arcade joystick and buttons.

On a more personal note, I wanted to enjoy building my final project and gaming is something that I have always enjoyed, especially on the consoles mentioned above. This is what motivated my to develop this project.
