The target audience for ScamWise is internet users. ScamWise is a URL scanning Malware checker and will protect the users device from Malware.

This application alerts users to suspicious URL/link on the internet, whether they be a phishing email, a popup window or any invasive advertisement promoting the user to click on it. The user copies the suspicious link’s URL into the ScamWise application website.

ScamWise will run several levels of security checks on the link and tell the user what exactly could be lurking on the URL. After the tests are finished the application will display an end rating on the URL’s security and say if it is safe to browse or if it should be avoided.
