A fun retro style space-rocket game where the user controls the rocket. Players have to collect stars to gain points while dodging objects that are coming their way. The user controls the rocket with a Scriba. A Scriba is a unique stylus designed around the natural movements of your hand. With a flexible body and dynamic squeeze motion, Scriba responds to your every touch. The user squeezes the Scriba to control the rockets movements.

The app is aimed at children who have diseases like Parkinsons or Arthritis that effect their fine motor-skills. Fine motor skills refer to the ability to make movements using the small muscles of the hands, wrist and fingers. Children require these skills to carry out many of their everyday tasks particularly school work. The Scriba is a perfect tool to test this as it has a squeezable motion that allows the user to have complete control to whatever they're doing.

I am working in conjunction with Dublin Design Studio to build this app for them to add to their research. They are currently undergoing testing with St. James Hospital and Trinity College to identify any improvement in a childs fine motor-skills while using the Scriba.
