Crime is a huge ongoing issue in Dublin. Most people we know have experienced crime in some aspect throughout their life. This project analyses how multiple trends such as number of garda employed locally, general education and income level of local population can impact the amount of crime offences occurring in the streets of North and South Dublin.
Datasets used in this analysis are sourced from the Central Statistics Office. Data was extracted, processed and mined using the KDD methodology. This analysis may be useful for those who have an interest in criminology or are involved in tackling the trends that are associated with crime. It may also be of interest to the general public living in Dublin.
