An analysis of crime in Dublin focusing on North Dublin using the South as a comparison to uncover whether or not background factors such as educational attainment, poverty rate and peer influence are motives of crime offence. This analysis can be insightful to anyone with an interest in criminology, psychology or just anyone looking to gain some information on the topic. An interactive map displays the total number of crimes which changes by year with the use of a slider. Multiple datasets were sourced from the Central Statistics Office as csv files and were processed using the KDD model with R.
