Project Overview
Cube is an online practical cybersecurity training platform that encourages professionals and enthusiasts to hone their skills through helpful, well-planned curriculum with accompanying practical tasks.
A 3-step learning process is employed. Learn. Test. Action. These steps allow a candidate to learn about a particular topic through text or video based modules, test their knowledge through a dynamic quiz, and finally to action and practically apply what they have been taught in a fictitious scenario. All necessary information will be provided to candidates, ensuring that they have the knowledge required to progress through courses without the need for outside publications. Candidates will feel empowered through the intuitive courses and will be encouraged to complete tasks.
Candidates will learn skills in popular cybersecurity topics such as SQL injection, CSRF, enumeration and privilege escalation. Learned skills will be put to the test through practical task-based assessment. Tasks will consist of a vulnerable virtual machine, a fabricated scenario and a goal. Users must action what they have learned to complete the tasks. These tasks simulate real-life encounters and provide users with the confidence to execute these tools in a professional setting.
