The aim of this project is the create a TensorFlow Image classification application that can be used to check and identify skin conditions. The user can upload a photo and the neural network which has been trained on a large dataset will show the most likely result. There can be public and private users of the application.
The companies registered on the application can have public profiles with information and links to their website. The target audience for this project is people who are worried about possible skin conditions they might have, and the other target audience are dermatology companies who can promote their business.
The application also uses Google Firebase for user authentication and as a real time database. The database will be used for users to save their results, and for companies with public profiles to post information.
Holder of QQI Level 5 & 6 in Software Development with Distinction. On track for a second class honours. Completed an academic internship in 2021 and developed an Internet of Things mobile app in a competition for Dell.
Good skills in Java, and have experience working with Python, Ruby, C#, and JavaScript. 5 years customer service experience in a retail environment. Strong organisational skills developed while studying full time and working part time. Interested in mobile and web development.
