Project Overview
The project analyses whether or not the introduction of microtransactions in video games causes an increase or decrease in user enjoyment of the game.
Microtransactions are in game purchases for a video game that allow the user to gain some kind of advantage or add to a game. During the project I review data available for five videogames that have microtransactions in them and analyse how much the microtransactions cost and how users react to their introduction. Extracting datasets from Kaggle and Steam and importing the data into RStudio. Data is analysed and visualised in RStudio and Excel.
