Flash is an Android application which uses Augmented Reality to help the user visualise tattoos on their body. The main objective of building this application was to help users who are interested in tattoo design to get a clear understanding of how a tattoo will look on their body.

One of the core features of this application is to allow the user to upload a vector image from their phone gallery, place the image and view the design on their body in real time through the camera on their smart phone. The application also includes an image editor and a section for tattoo artists to upload and showcase their art.  This artist showcase area will allow artists to highlight their work and direct customers to their page in order to try the tattoo on virtually before getting the tattoo itself.

This app is a quick and easy tool for people that are interested in tattoos and I believe the tattoo industry will benefit greatly from this resource.
