The "Help Mountain Rescue" project consists of a mobile application that can assist Mountain Rescue in Ireland in finding lost hikers.
The application uses the devices' location service to pinpoint the location of hikers on the mountain side. A signal can be sent to Mountain Rescue Ireland which will alert them when hikers are in trouble and need rescuing.
