MyNews is an application that allows you to receive news that appeals to you the most. You can personalize the news you receive by indicating your preference: sports, music, global news... Or all of them!

When users sign into the application, their login details are  saved into a database. The users can then build a profile which allows them to save their news preferences and favourite genres.

MyNews utilises an API to pull news articles to display to the user. The displayed articles are based on their indicated preferences. The API will pull articles from the web and display them to the user in a compact and easily browsable way. Users can also filter the articles depending on what they want to read about at that moment by clicking the genres' filter checkbox.
