SenseEar is an iOS application aimed at visually impaired students which converts text files of many formats (txt, pdf, docx, xlsx, pptx) to audio format. This will assist the students in accessing course content.

The file selection is done through accessing the File Manager Application (“Files”) on the device. Speech recognition has been implemented to allow the student to speak the command into the device and have actions executed.

The text to audio conversion is done by using Googles Text-to-Speech API, which gives multiple options of accents and genders.
